Essential Criteria for Employment

Our Ideal Candidate:

Basic Qualifications required to work in our preschool and daycare environment typically include:

​

  • Minimum ECCED Qualification (Teachers / Assistant Teachers): Candidates should have a Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCED) or equivalent.

  • Relevant Experience: Experience working in a teaching role or childcare setting.

  • First Aid Certification: Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is beneficial.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Passion for Child Development: Genuine interest in the growth and development of young children.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Patience and Compassion: Understanding and patience in dealing with children's needs and behaviors.

  • Background Check: Clear background check and/or child abuse clearance.
